fertility treatment during coronavirus lockdown

Many people are effected by the current lockdown announced by the government this week as regards their own fertility journey. Internationally, there has not been a great deal of consensus over how best to advise patients or direct regulatory bodies as to best practice. Below you will find links to the most pertinent  advice which I will update as developments happen.

Many UK IVF clinics have now been assessed and granted permission to reopen following Government advice to allow cycles to recommence. For an up-to-date list of those clinics reopening, please see the HFEA website HFEA clinic list (as of 22-5-20)

Covid-19 Update

Current UK guidance is for ALL fertility clinics to cease new treatments and to not carry out any services after 15th April 2020.
